She became an actress in the team of Chinese classic instrument for 4 years. During these 4 years, she also took classes in major of Communication Studies in Mount Saint Vincent University.

  • Chinese Art and Culture Club
Chinese Art and Culture Club is constituted by some Chinese people who used to do the job related to artist or performance. Most of the actors and actresses are from different universities in Halifax. Some of them joined to dancing group, some of them are interested in Kongfu. Tingwei has studied the instrument Erhu since 8 years old. The instrument group is exactly where she belongs.

  • Important work
Every year, the most important performances both are at the end of the year. One is the Christmas, the other one is the Chinese New Year. Actors and actresses start to practicing and rehearsing for the performances as the same time as the new semester starts, which is September. Tingwei had joined the performances from 2014 to 2018 in Casino building. The Christmas performing is performed to native people in Halifax. At that day, the mayor of Halifax will invited to watching the performing.
The instrument group was also invited to perform at Dalhousie university, St. Mary University and multi-cultural night at Mount Saint Vincent University

My major is Communication Studies. A lot of friends asked me why am I going to study in communication. I would say I love communicating. I can have a nice conversation with people in all age. And I don't feel inpatient to talk to others. That is the first reason. Secondly, I have five closed friends, they built a band and established a studio. I really want to help them to get famous and success. So I joined the Chinese Art and Culture Club to get more experiences on performing and managing.
