I was pretty confident I would do good. When I got home I studied for at least an hour and a half. When I did the test I ended up barely passing with a low 70.

How does this relate to the theme?

This relates to the theme because I studied really hard and did anything I could to do good, but I didn't. That is just part of life, not always doing good. No one is perfect. I practice almost every day. For school, I made A team and we scrimmage the 8th graders A team a lot. In one of our games when we scrimmaging them, we were down by one point, with 15 seconds. I got a steal and had an easy layup. I missed the layup and my team lost. I felt so embarrassed. I was embarrassed because I knew I could make that. I make that shot 99 percent of the time.
