What If

What if the author had made another chapter where Boo Radley was actually seen around town and became a member of the community that people weren't scared of. I feel that would have been a very interesting chapter not only because people judged him for such a long time based on stories that they heard from other people. It would have been a nice turning point for the story of Boo because he was trapped for so long in his house by his father and then his brother not being allowed to go out do to the danger that he might cause. I think this a good what if because after hearing the bad stories of Boo and then towards the end seeing the better side of him would just make it a very emotional and thoughtful ending to an already amazing book.

In my personal opinion this book is very interesting it is really eye catching it makes you want to forget about everything you're doing or have to do and just read forever. I really just wanted to jump into the book a become part of their life. It is maybe one of the best books that I have ever read in my life to this date. It will more than likely continue to be one of my favorite books of all time as life goes on.

Some of the main characters include Atticus Finch the lawyer and father of a son Jem Finch and daughter Scout Finch. Then we have their cook Calpurnia who basically like her job description says cooks for the family. Dill Harris is Scout and Jem's summer friend he only comes to their town during the summer to stay with his aunt when summer is over he goes back home. Mayela and her father Edwin Finch are two major characters Mayela is the white women that gets raped and her father is basically the one that is protecting her and trying to get justice. Tom Robinson is the black man that is accused of raping the white women. I believe that the protagonist of this book is Scout because she is trying to do the right thing by getting an innocent man his freedom she does a lot of investigating and a lot of talking to other people she's just really noisy which can be good in some cases and not so much in others. While the antagonist of the book is Edwin because he trying to cover up what might have really happened and blame it on an easy target so he is causing trouble in the story.

Major Turning Points.

A few major turning points include when Dill stops coming to town during the summer because his new stepfather wants him to stay home so he runs away to come visit Jem and Scout. Another turning point in the story is when some of the men in town start to go after Atticus because he's defending a black man which makes him try a lot harder to make sure he can get the man off with no jail time and found not guilty. My final major turning point is when the jury take a long time to reach their verdict on whether or not he's guilty then when they return in give there sensenig it's just turns the town around and makes certain people do certain things.
