For me personally, I feel more informed about the mental illnesses covered as well as about the topic of mental health as a whole. Author Jonathan Eig provides a surprisingly human aspect to the otherwise glamour-filled and extraordinary life of Al Capone. He does this to show that like all of us, Capone was human, and by showing this rather unseen side of Capone, Eig opens the eyes of the reader to the fact that every cover doesn’t reflect the book inside
