WORLD BUILDING GROUP 3 by Abby DAVEY

In order to start thinking about Ray Bradbury's style of writing and to practice our skills of world building, your bookclub group will collate a series of images, phrases and single words that could be used to create a world that would exist in a Bradbury novel or short story. You can use language you locate in his short stories, or imaginative, inferred language that you come up with as a group. Post your findings in the Padlet with the usual rules (name, appropriateness, not too long!).

Bradbury uses foreshadowing a lot in his works. He does it in a clever way to keep the readers guessing and leads them away from what will happen. He then surprises the readers with the truth, which often has to be inferred. Because this truth has to be inferred, it means that there may be multiple possibilities.

The man was a genius!
