Odysseus laertes son I always thought that he was larger than life, that nothing would ever hurt him. I though he was invincible but now even I saw him sobbing like a child I still think that he is heroic because even after all of that were still sail even though we are lost. Odysseus has lead us to victory over the ten long years we had to fight and we won. Even before the war Odysseus was a leader in Ithaca and made sure people were safe. Alright I got to get back to moping the throw up so this is the end of this entry

Trapped in a cave with a cyclops

The monstrous cyclops stars at us and our great leader Odysseus my heart fills with fear as it towers over us. Are great leader was as calm as every as he said ''Sir, have a care for the gods courtesy; Zeus will avenge the unoffending guest''. The cyclops said that he ''wouldn't let us go in fear of zeus unless he had a whim to'' and as he said this everybody was shocked and scared but our great leader Odysseus must have a plan because he wasn't afraid .When the cyclops took some of are men to feast on I had lost all hope and prayed to Zeus and to my surprise Odysseus joined us but after words we all groaned and sat down. I think that Odysseus will try and save us and be heroic but I don't know how he will do it.

At last we have escaped the fury of Polyphemus the monstrous cyclops but now knowing that we will be cursed to die thanks to Odysseus. The giant said ''Let him lose all companions '' meaning we are fated to die. We even said ''God Sake captain why bait the beast again? leave him alone!", but he didn't listen instead he said "if any mortal man inquire of how you were put to shame tell them Odysseus raider of cities, took your eye Laertes son who's home is on Ithaca.'' I think he just wanted the glory of defeating a cyclops. He wanted more stuff to boast about in Ithaca.

When I first saw this beautiful woman she was kind and as she served us I felt relaxed after all the hardships we had to faced. After the food I felt strange as my body distorts into a foreign flesh and then I realise I've been turned into a pig as I scream. I feel as if are so called great leader may be strong and heroic but sometimes he does things I don't understand like cheating on his wife with circe or baiting The monstrous cyclops Polyphemus. I feel ok staying on the island as I relax but still keeping my eye on that enchantress because she may try something again and if she does I shall draw my sword and slit her throat and cut her down before it's to late .

The Final Monsters

As we row along the sea peacefully as I anticipate me and my brother Fitz finally getting home to Ithaca to see our family again. After a while suddenly the waves start to violently shakes and rocks against the boat we all star to panic as the oars start to fly out of are hands but odysseus said friends have we never been in danger before this? More fearsome it is now, than when the Cyclops penned us in his cave? what power he had! Did I not keep my nerve and use my wits to find a way out for us? by hook or crook peril too shall be something that we remember. After hearing that I get myself together and me and by brother across from me and follow Odysseus . Then all of a sudden we see charybdis and ''by heaven! when she vomited, all the sea was like a caldron seething over intense fire, when the mixture suddenly heaves and rises. After that we see the six headed monster charybdis from the clearing smoke and she took six men but as I watch in horror my brother is one of the six and ''I happened to glance aft at ship and oarsmen and caught sight of their arms and legs''. I feel empty as we sail away and angry that Odysseus didn't even try to strike the beast.
