Are they using the same resources that are given by the district? It seems like these schools also show a more consistent growth as they reach the intermediate grades. I think we are missing a solid reading curriculum. It seems that no matter what reading curriculum we have adopted in the last 10 years, it doesn't really suit the needs of the students or follow Indiana standards. We tend to follow the standards for math as a curriculum, but it is more difficult in ELA to do that.
