This theory is when students learn best by breaking down a whole into different parts and learning those parts first.
2 classroom uses:
1. When learning a big word, the students will find smaller words that they know within the big word and put them together to figure out the big word.
2. Students will learn how to form letters in handwriting, and eventually be able to put those letters together to form words.

This theory is when students learn the best by understanding symbolic forms of the language.
2 classroom uses:
1. Students could use pictures to describe what they are trying to say, instead of having to write the words.
2. They could get a point across by creating a poster either to inform their classmates, or possibly persuade them.

This theory is when students learn the best by doing.
2 classroom uses:
1. To do this in a classroom the students could do a sort of science experiment, or even a science fair.
2. Another way to do this in a classroom would be to have the students apply it to their life. For example, if they are learning about newspapers, they could go home and find a newspaper and identify the different parts that they have learned.
