I love watching movies on my free time and DUNE is just one of my many blockbuster favorites and It's almost impossible to count the movies I love to re-watch on my free time. The influence that these certain movies have on me is quite substantial because some movies can be life changing and inspiring for me.

Anime goes a long way for because it's fun and entertaining to watch and it introduced me to my favorite anime which is "Haikyuu" and gave me my passion for volleyball and why I started the sport in the first place. Other anime's are a fun watch and I like to watch them and talk about them with my friends when I have free time.

Manga is something that I truly love because it gave my unique experiences even if they're just still images drawn on paper. The unique experiences of an advanced read and waiting for each chapter to release is truly different from a typical anime watcher. Some manga's release first which is why they can be more popular in other places other than the Philippines.

Valorant was my first ever FPS shooter and it occupied most of the leftover time I had during the pandemic causing me to get very competitive during the time. Valorant was a way for us to have fun and socialize online when we were locked in our homes during the global pandemic and it might get addicting so be careful.

Apex Legends was my second FPS shooter and I fell in love with the game immediately. from the graphics to the mechanics and to how fun it was. It was truly a gem of a game for everyone to experience. Constant updates in the future making the game better made it more famous and has set its name as one of the best FPS shooters out there.

The Backseat Lovers was the first banned to ever get me truly hooked on a band and has quickly become my favorite band! from replaying their songs to vibing it out to sleep. This band is truly something special to me because of their lyrical meaning, catchy tunes, and relatable love songs. I go back to them everytime I feel things and they make me wanna go out and see the world knowing I can be a better person towards people that I care about.

K-POP was something I used to despise because of influence but as I grew older I began to surround myself with people who liked K-POP and learned to adapt and actually came to like this genre of music because of a special person who introduced this certain girl group to me!!(refer to the gif above)

Rock was something my brother introduced me too and I have listened to this genre for most of my life. It has influenced me so much because of the sheer amount of lyrics about drugs and abuse which made me wanna avoid things like that more. But most importantly, metal is just music to my ears.

Why do I like these media?

Media can come in all types of forms and these certain types of media really connected with me and they're essential to my way of living and the types of media I mentioned here is only a small part of what I do online. I enjoy these types of media because they give meaning to the boring life that most students with so much free time experience. It allows me to escape from the repetitive school cycle and enjoy myself from time to time with these types of media.

How are these media influencing or affecting me?

These media are affecting me by giving me inspiration through my daily life and motivates me to do my best with my health and my school grades. Even though they may seem like distractions for the typical student, these media can be really important to some students in their daily struggles. Some types of media can be unhealthy if you consume too much of it. As long as you are taking care of yourself and careful with what you do and see online media can be quite healthy for the typical person.
