         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong><em>¿Qué es un sólido amorfo?<br></em></strong>&nbsp; El sólido amorfo es un estado sólido de la materia en el que las partículas que conforman el sólido carecen de formas y caras definidas, y a su vez de una estructura ordenada.<br><strong>Propiedades de los sólidos amorfos.<br></strong>Las moléculas de los sólidos amorfos están distribuidas al azar lo que se traduce en que las propiedades físicas macroscópicas del sólido son <a href="https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isotrop%C3%ADa">isótropas</a>, idénticas en todas las direcciones .<br>Los sólidos amorfos tienen una temperatura característica a la cual sus propiedades experimentan cambios importantes. Esta temperatura se conoce como <a href="https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temperatura_de_transici%C3%B3n_v%C3%ADtrea">temperatura de transición vítrea</a> (Tg).<br><strong><em>Obtención de sólidos amorfos:</em></strong></div><div>Existen varios métodos de obtención de estos sólidos.          <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>¿Qué es un sólido cristalino?</strong><br>Un sólido cristalino es aquél que tiene una estructura periódica y ordenada, como consecuencia tienen una forma que no cambia, salvo por la acción de fuerzas externas. Cuando se aumenta la temperatura, los sólidos se funden y cambian al estado líquido. Las moléculas ya no permanecen en posiciones fijas, aunque las interacciones entre ellas siguen siendo suficientemente grandes para que el líquido pueda cambiar de forma sin cambiar apreciablemente de volumen, adaptándose al recipiente que lo contiene.<br><strong>Características de los sólidos cristalinos</strong></div><ul><li>En el estado sólido, las moléculas, átomos o iones que componen la sustancia considerada están unidos entre sí por fuerzas relativamente intensas, formando un todo compacto.&nbsp;</li><li>La mayor proximidad entre sus partículas constituyentes es una característica de los sólidos y permite que entren en juego las fuerzas de enlace que ordenan el conjunto, dando lugar a una red cristalina.</li><li>Los componentes elementales de una red cristalina pueden ser átomos, moléculas o iones, de ahí que no se pueda hablar en general de la molécula de un cristal, sino más bien de un retículo elemental o celdilla unidad, que se repite una y otra vez en una estructura periódica o red cristalina.</li></ul><div><strong>Los sólidos cristalinos pueden ser:<br>Sólidos Iónicos</strong></div><div>En los sólidos iónicos, la red está formada por iones alternadamente positivos y negativos, resultantes de la transferencia de un electrón (o más) de un tipo de átomo para el otro.<br><strong>Sólidos Covalentes</strong></div><div>En los sólidos covalentes no existe transferencia de carga entre los átomos para formar iones, como el caso de los cristales iónicos, pero un compartimiento de pares de electrones de valencia entre los átomos.<br><strong>Sólidos Moleculares</strong></div><div>En los sólidos moleculares constituidos por moléculas apolares, los electrones se encuentran emparejados y no pueden formar enlaces covalentes. Las moléculas conservan su individualidad pero están enlazadas por las fuerzas de Van del Waals, las mismas que existen entre las moléculas de un gas o de un líquido.<br><strong>Sólidos Metálicos</strong></div><div>Un sólido metálico es formado a partir de átomos con algunos electrones débilmente ligados en las capas más externas, electrones estos que pasan a moverse por todo el sólido cuando de su formación.</div>]]></description>
