My mentoring has turned into a friendship! My mentor has given me so much to think about, and has opened up some questions. I got a lot of advice. I even got to see a small part of what my mentor does in her work. Deep conversations, walks. Sometimes I don't even need to talk about work, because it's so nice to have someone to get away from work issues with. And that's just a small part of what I have experienced through mentoring!
