This activity allowed students to engage in a meaningful and relevant challenge: getting to know their classmates to foster a more connected and respectful classroom community. During the investigation phase, students acted as "language detectives" and interviewers, using English as a tool to gather real information about their peers. In the action phase, students used the collected information to create a profile. They can negotiate what information to include and how to present it.

Overall, this challenge-based activity proved highly effective in promoting communication skills, critical thinking, and collaborative learning. It also emphasized that English can be used for real purposes beyond the classroom which contributed to a more positive and inclusive learning environment.
