This session explored the importance of lessons that support the 8 mathematical practices. Included is a folder of math games that support all of the practices and are fun ways for students to work on developing strategies as they "play" with math. Great for teachers who may skip to the standard algorithm too quickly!

Simplifying Teaching with Canva: Boost Your Efficiency and Engage Your Students

This session explored all the quick and easy ways that teachers can use Canva in their classrooms. It would be great to share this with new teachers at Smooth Start (agendas, class expectations posters, year at a glance or weekly schedules with links to the materials, weekly newsletter templates, email signatures, premade lessons to review concepts, etc.) This could also be a great resource for Site Coaches and Year 2's when building their CCC presentation. There are premade presentations and graphics for showing measurable results. There are short Canva tutorials embedded in the presentation link for easy access.
