The proctor of the exam told the principal that the student was asking for a tip to his seatmate while the exam was conducted. The principal was frustrated and was about to call the student’s parents then the student said why was he being punished for cheating when all he ask for was a tip-ex because he got his answer wrong in the paper and wanted to correct it. It took the principal 10 minutes or less to figure out that tip-ex is a brand of correction fluid which the British refer to as “eraser”. And the teacher assumed it was “tips”. As the Principal how would you resolve the matter?

He was my seatmate in 2nd year and I mentioned a single Japanese word which was "itadakimasu". I just heard it from an anime movie without really even watching the movie. I shouted it in class. He was furious at me while all of us were laughing. A week after after that incident, we had a Japanese class and my Japanese teacher taught us to pray before eating and she said, "itadakimasu!".
