What I did there was basically organize the different clothes and arrange them the way they told me. Each day was something different. One day it was organizing the women's clothes. The next day I put the shoes on the shelves and made them presentable. The last day I helped hang up the different clothes. I also got to talk and get to know some people that work there. I picked to do my hours here because I wanted to see what it was like to "work" at a thrift store. I wanted to see how the whole donation process worked. This project made me realize that not everyone can afford brand new clothes, and shelters like this one makes it possible the families that can't. It also showed me that there are a lot of people out there that help them out as well by donating there clothes, shoes, belts, undergarments, and furniture, etc. I defiantly would say that the donations come in fast so there is no down time. Especially on the weekend. That's when a lot of people donate. So you must separate and hang up clothes really fast. 

I believe that having to do these community service hours are very beneficial to us. I probably wouldn't have done this if it wasn't a grade. I'm glad I did it because it got me out of my shell, and I got to meet so many different types of people.
