The majority of them are there for students when they are having bad days and they are always there for you when you need help. Even though over half of them are new, they still try to create connections with upperclassmen that are graduating next month.

Her teaching goes way beyond the classroom, she has gone out of her way to help families with household needs, and even transported some of the furnishings using her own car and trailer. She started and continues to run the O'Keeffe Travel Club. Helping students raise funds to help pay for their trips - In 2018, to Europe taking about 25 student travelers to 5 different countries. This year 2019 the trip is planned for Costa Rica. Giving these students a chance to see the world and learn way beyond what a classroom can teach.
