Cell Membrane V.S. Guards

The cell membranes function is to protect the organelles of the cell and the cell itself. It also controls what substances can or can't enter the cell. This picture is an image of castle guards. Cell membranes relate to castle guards because the guards of the castle protect the people inside and protect the castle from destruction against enemies. They also make sure who ever is coming into the castle is not an enemy trying to destroy the castle. This is a good analogy because both the cell membrane and guards of the castle are trying to protect. This is a bad analogy because the cell membrane will are already be permeable to some objects unlike the guards. The guards of the castle will let anyone in unless they look suspicious.

The cytoplasm fills up the rest of the cell that doesn't have organelles. This picture is an image of what "summer" is to be like. Cytoplasm can relate to summer because summer takes up the rest of the year when we don't have to go to school. This is a good analogy because both fill up what is left. This is a bad analogy because cytoplasm is an substance and summer is time or a season of time. Also on the weekends we don't have school, but it isn't counted as summer.

Ribosomes make proteins for the cell. Without ribosomes the cell would not have protein for it to survive. This picture is an image of gasoline being pumped into a car. Ribosomes relate to gasoline because they both are needed for the object or organism to survive. Without gasoline the car couldn't work or function properly as without ribosomes the cell couldn't function properly either. This is a good analogy because both ribosomes and gasoline give off energy or proteins to the object or organism for it to work.

Mitocondria gives the cell energy for it to function. this picture is an image of food. Mitochondria can relate to food because both give energy to the organism. This is a good analogy because mitochondria and food give energy to the organism so the organism can function. Without food or mitochondria the organisms would not function properly and would not survive. This is a bad analogy because mitochondria keeps giving off energy that the cell can use, but food gives you energy that can wear off very quickly.

The Vacuole stores water so the cell can use it incase it gets dehydrated.
This picture is an image of a water bottle. The vacuole can relate to a water bottle because they both store water. This is a good analogy because both water bottles and vacuoles store water in case the organism is dehydrated and needs water. This is a bad analogy because a vacuole never runs out of water it keeps refilling itself if need. But, a water bottle can run out of water very quickly.

The Nucleus is most important organelle of a cell. It controls the forming the basis for its activity and growth. This picture is an image of a coach. The Nucleus can relate to a coach of a sports team because it controls the plays that the team will do and the nucleus controls how the cell functions. This is a good analogy because both are the head of the team or cell. This is a bad analogy because the coach can't control the function of the team. He/she can't control how well they do, as the nucleus can.
