Cell membranes relate to castle guards because the guards of the castle protect the people inside and protect the castle from destruction against enemies. They also make sure who ever is coming into the castle is not an enemy trying to destroy the castle. This is a good analogy because both the cell membrane and guards of the castle are trying to protect. This is a bad analogy because the cell membrane will are already be permeable to some objects unlike the guards.
