Reflection: I do not interact much with transgender people for the simple reason that I do not know many. So I was hoping that the test would come back as no bias but I can understand why it came back the way it did. I think if I were to meet more transgender people and be friends that my unconsious biases would change. Reflection: The test revealed that I have no bias towards either president so I was pleasantly surprised but I also do not know if it is a good or bad thing. I am still not 100% sure how the test comes up with the results, I feel like this is purely based on patterns. Reflection: I love tutoring here. I often will have a bad day at work and just want to stay home but then I get to the church and we start our lesson and it is so fun to engage with the students! I think the most uncomfortable part is the language barrier. It was a great way to connect and engage with the community.

Reflection: One thing that was really great to experience was to see a LGBTQIA person in leadership at the camp. The camp leader identifies as non binary and I got to see some interactions between them and the kids and it was so great to see how to address this information in the future. I was also able to witness a student ask the teacher how they should address the non binary teacher and it was great to see an example of how to address that quesiton in the future while being respectful. The student then came up to me and expressed some of his thoughts. Reflection: My a-ha moment for this was that I can see this in a social justice and political sense. I would see videos and real life examples of people peacefully protesting or advocating and another person would start arguing about something unrelated to what the protest or advocating was about.
