It is much more trying to understand why findings would be interpreted in a certain way.          <description><![CDATA[<div>The education system should focus on&nbsp; "liberating" learners from oppression, rather than just simply improving attainment, thus enabling them to set their own goals, to define the person they want to become, while providing them with opportunities to achieve them.<br>A critical theory commits all participants, learners, practitioners and researchers, with an active transformation of the environment, aiming at higher goals beyond the academic: a more democratic and equitable society. Therefore this approach challenges the purpose of education in its very base.<br>A critical theory tries to look at the whole picture.<br>Drawbacks: time-consuming, expensive, linked to a political view that could change with governments.</div>]]></description>
