After studying Fine Arts and Decorative Arts, he worked as an Art Director for ten years. In 1990 he produced his first illustrations for the press. In 1994, his first book for children was published by Seuil Jeunesse : Comment Papa a rencontré Maman.

He did not have to wait long for recognition: he received the Prize for Non-Fiction at the Bologne International Book Fair in 1998 for Faut Pas Confondre, and his books that prefer the ‘path’ to narration, soon find much acclaim. With the series of books Jeux de…(2006 onwards), with Les Cinq Sens (2003) orL’imaginier (2006), his work not only includes reading books but also touch and feel books aiming thus at children right from early childhood.

With Moi, C’est Blop, published in 2005, that marks the birth of the chameleon form so emblematic of his work, or Turlututu, in 2007, the strange eye that guides children through a game of question and answers, Hervé Tullet asserts his concept : soliciting the reader to actually integrating them in his work.

After studying painting and scenography at the Art Academy in Venice, she moved to Central St. Martins, London to study theater design. Most recently, she has received her MFA from Columbia University and was featured in the MFA thesis show. With a background in stage design and choreography, Rebet has actively collaborated professionally in both fields.

Rebet’s artwork is reminiscent of the optical illusions and spiritual experiments of the late 19th century, pre-cinematic entertainment landscape. She works in a variety of media and art forms including drawing, performance art, and hand drawn animation and photography (shot on 16mm/35mm film.) Her work has been exhibited internationally, including Site Santa Fé, Shanghai Art Museum; Parasol Unit, London; Kamel Mennour Gallery, Paris; Taka Ishii, Tokyo and upcoming at Cartier Foundation, Paris.

After leaving Bonn she remained in Germany to dance at Oper Leipzig with Uwe Scholz and the Deutsche Oper Berlin under Richard Cragun and Sylviane Bayard. She sees the body as a perceiving structure in constant movement and is profoundly interested in how physical awareness fosters creativity. Rooted in the tradition of the artist-engineer, her work lives at the intersection of sculpture, performance, dance, architecture, and design, addressing themes of motion. Her large sculptures include wide-ranging references—from ancient totems to contemporary ergonomic design—yet they always revert to biomorphic forms and structures, functioning as sites for choreographed performances in which the artist or other performers climb, contort and balance their bodies, activating the space. “The structures I build serve to express the elegance of a gesture, a finite moment of equilibrium”, Ève has said. In recent projects, she has collaborated with professional dancers in New York and Moscow and is now developing practicable sculptures for the public. Her current research explores association of her understanding of the body with cognitive science.
Ève Laroche-Joubert’s work has been commissioned and exhibited in France, Germany, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Russia and across the US. She was awarded funded residencies from Triangle Arts Organization (USA), the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts (USA), the I-Park Foundation (USA), Sculpture Space (USA) and the 3D-Verbier Foundation (Switzerland). Her work has been featured in the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Artforum, Blouin ArtInfo (Russia), The Brooklyn Rail,  Hyperallergic, Title Magazine, Blend Magazine and The Southern Metropolis Weekly (China) among others. Ève holds an MFA in Sculpture from the École des Beaux Arts (Paris, France) and a BFA in Architectural metal work from Olivier de Serres School of Art & Design (Paris, France). She received fellowships from the École des Beaux Arts in Paris and the San Francisco Art Institute to study abroad. It is after an exchange program at the San Francisco Art Institute that she started incorporating performance in her sculptural work. Ève studied classical ballet and music theory at the Lorraine Conservatory in France. She is also trained in Capoeira and acrobatics, disciplines that she practiced in France, Germany, the Netherlands, Hungary and the US.
Ève’s sculpting techniques are influenced by her professional background as a fabricator. She built countless prototypes for design and architectural companies, fabricated numerous models and sets for the fine arts and entertainment industries, and has experience as a foreman in building renovations. Additionally, Ève taught perspective techniques in Paris, with a specialization in the construction of anamorphosis.

Bovasso is the  recipient of several awards  and grants, including a Guggenheim Memorial Fellowship, Louis Comfort Tiffany Artist Grant, New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship, and two times grantee from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation.
In 2012 she was awarded a  MacDowell Colony Fellowship, spending a month in New Hampshire creating a new body of work. One of these works is included in the book, "100 Painters of Tomorrow"

Bovasso received her BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. Ms. Bovasso attended the Skowhegan School of Art in Maine, & completed her MFA from Bard College.  Predominantly a maker of works on paper,  she states she was influenced by her mother who was a textile designer.  "My attempt at making designs whilst a student at SFAI,  played a huge role in defining my own voice as an artist. Using gouache on paper to make original designs, something I'd watched my mom do since I was a child, I one day broke free of the limitations prescribed for design making, I started doing my own thing. This “breaking free” I feel, also plays a role in the content of my work, when I speak of anti-design or pattern gone amok.”

Nina Bovasso's  work has been reviewed and collected widely in the US and abroad including several museum collections. She has held visiting artist teaching positions at the University of Georgia, California College of Art, University of Virginia, and University of Tennessee.  She presented lectures about her work at numerous universities,  including Princeton University, Northwestern University and the Cornell. Bovasso has curated exhibitions with many noted artists, and founded a small gallery in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, which she operated for three years and mounted twelve solo shows for artists from the US, the Netherlands, and Turkey. She participated with her gallery, 1k Projectspace, in two art fairs, Kunstvlaai in Amsterdam, and the Next Fair, in Chicago.
Ms Bovasso has an active and vital studio practice. From an early age, she helped out in her family’s toy factory and later became a student at the Sonneberg Polytechnic for Toy Design, where she was encouraged by a teacher to create toy animals that could be used therapeutically for children with physical and mental handicaps. Joséphine Ancelle grew up in Paris in a family of actors and musicians. She took her passion for singing to New York at the age of 18, where she developed her career by regularly performing at many of New York’s renowned venues, such as The Bitter End or The Living Room. Between 2007 and 2011, Joséphine released one full length album, two EPs, and two singles of her Franco-American compositions, with her song Les “Je t’aime” receiving radio airplay in France and Germany.
 
In addition to pursuing her career in music, Joséphine completed her master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from Teachers College, Columbia University in 2016, having found a new passion for this field that combines science, compassion, and creativity.

In 2013, Joséphine joined the team of visiting artists at La Petite École, a French immersion preschool in New York City. Joséphine began writing songs which focused on accompanying the children in their daily routine. Over the years, she composed 12 songs for the school, in French and in English: songs to say “hello” and “goodbye”, to “clean up” or “wash hands”...
