1. What Worked Well

Differentiated learning helped meet the different needs of my students. For example, some children used counters to count to 10 on their own, while others worked in pairs. Using visual aids, hands-on materials, and games kept everyone engaged and made learning fun. I was happy to see quieter children gain confidence as they worked at their own pace.

2. Challenges

It was hard to manage time because planning for different abilities took extra effort. Some children needed more one-on-one help, which made it tricky to supervise the whole class. Balancing the needs of faster learners and those who needed more time was also a challenge.

3. What I Learned

I learned that flexibility is key. Every child learns differently, and using a mix of approaches keeps them interested. Celebrating small successes motivates children and builds their confidence. I also saw how working together helps kids learn from each other. Next time, I’ll work on better planning to make transitions smoother and use resources more effectively.

What worked well?
今年不论是在教学、同事还是家长方面，一切都很顺利。如在教学方面，尽我所学到的知识如何和幼儿互相交流，让幼儿学会如何解决面对问题。在同事方面，我会与同事商讨工做的问题，还有学校有举办活动，我也会参与合作。最后在家长方面，也会与家长交流沟通，如有位小朋友在课堂上作弄朋友又撞到他跌倒，这样我会通知家长，让家长知道他的孩子今天发生什么？还有幼儿在学习有进步还是学习有问题也会与家长商讨如何帮助孩子。

2.What challenges emerged?

我所面对的挑战是准备新教材、多动幼儿还有小班无课室上华文课。准备新教材—今年的教材全部都是新的，而需要准备教材是从幼小班一直到幼儿班。而每天所准备的教材要放在一个地方，这样我的同事要用时，她就知道在哪里了？多动幼儿—今天我教幼小班的幼儿就有两个比较多动的幼儿，所以在上课时，我会一直放在身边，这样他们才不会乱跑，只是要他们做手工，还是当要拍照时，会比较不容易。最后就是小班无课室，如果要在小班上的课室上课，但是又有马来班而课室又太小，我会带幼儿到食堂上课，而食堂又有人进进出出，幼儿又很难集中注意听课，这就是我最大的挑战了。而中班和大班课室会比的较大间，还可以供用。

3.Insights gained ?

年终要结束了，我也清楚教材是不容易准备的特别是有这么多班，但是经过和同事的讨论之后就是提前准备，相信是可以完成的。而在教幼儿方面还是要改进，使出不同的方法策略，还是没办法解决问题也可以向校长与同事请教。

Insights gained
Differentiated learning highlights the fact that every student has unique learning styles, interests, and strengths. This approach has reinforced the understanding that there is no one-size-fits-all method for teaching, and students require varied instructional strategies to reach their potential.

what worked well:
我釆用多种方法去接触、靠近孩子，教他们唱中文歌曲，教他们做游戏，跟他们一起玩耍，慢慢融入到他们的学习中。看到幼儿从懵懂到对华语产生兴趣再到主动说华语，这让老师非常感动。
Challenges:
幼儿在生活中使用多种语言，在学校华文教学环境有限，幼儿想学习华语，但语言环境不佳，很难让幼儿专注学习。
what I learned:
耐心和孩子用华语进行简单的互动，把华语课程变得更加有趣，鼓励家长参与口语沟通，支持幼儿用最舒服的方式学习华语。

What worked well: I do witness some children benefitting from differentiated learning during small group activities. I also observed that children were also helpful in the way that they guided children with LA to take activity sheets that has green labels and mentioned "try to easy levels first so you can improve and go on to the orange level.".

What challenges emerged: Learning to position myself to watch the rest of the class as well as time management.

Insights gained: Differentiated learning is not as difficult to implement as expected and with more practice and experience doing so has allowed me to learn to be flexible in my teaching methods as I have understood and grouped my children based on their learning styles, strengths etc. Apart from using commercialized resources, we can also create materials or activity sheets that are of interest and suitable for the children.

What worked well?
The Differentiated learning worked for children who are slower and have difficulty understanding and need more time to process. They need more time to understand lessons and the differentiated lessons let the children understand the lessons one step T a time.
What challenges emerged?
Teacher do not have enough time sometimes to guide them as sometimes there are no co teachers in class. Sometimes other children need attention too at the same time.
Insights gained?
Although Differentiated learning does help the weaker children, sometimes there is not enough time and preparations are needed to achieve better results.

What worked well?
Differentiated learning has been effective with play-based activities and guided support for our N1 children. By tweaking the lesson provided to cater to our children’s needs, it has been easier to engage the children.
What challenges emerged?
Due to the time constraint, it has been difficult to conduct differentiated learning activities for to cater to HAMALA.
Insights gained.
The key insights from the above are that young children learn best when activities are engaging, hands-on, and tailored to their individual needs and interests. Using play-based learning, visual supports, and personalized guidance helps maintain their engagement and supports their developmental progress.
