It is like a puzzle. When you fit in one piece, a bunch of others fall into place. It tells us about the Mycenaeans and the Minoans. It tells about their history and their lives. Since finding the site of Knossos, we learned more about the previous possessors of the land (The Mycenaean and Minoans) such as the Minotaur an whatnot. Historians and Archaeologists suggest that this statue represents, as the name says, a snake goddess. There were three found. Two made  of faience while the other one was made of ceramic. The figure was around 42 cm (18 inches) and is a bronze colour.
