Sophie: Assess children’s learning in different developmental areas / domains (Discovery of the World, Numeracy, Language and Literacy, motor skills, aesthetics and creative expression, social skills) through lessons (large group lesson, small group activities, work centre activities) and daily observations during routine as well. I usually observe how children do during assessments (worksheets) or how they answer during large group discussions to find out how far/near they are to reach the learning goals. and then i will go into smaller groups to assist and guide those who seems to be struggling a little more, from there i will be able to tell why they were struggling and what i can do to improve their leaning.
