One day, while we were talking about nearly mountains to get started, he lent me this book, since then, I’ve changed the way to go to the mountain.

Although it could seem bored because it’s a self-biography, it’s fresh and adventurous. The book relates the firsts European great walls ascents and the race to conquest the Himalayas.

I’ve seen some of these great walls and it’s amazing to imagine them there, mountains are probably the only place where things remain unaltered. Incredible!

I would higlhy recommend it to everyone who likes mountains.

The book is about a little girl called Momo who lives in the ruins of an anphitheater. Momo has five principle elements: a lot of time, listening, imagination, friends and music. She has an extraordinary ability to listen, so she can help people find answers to their problems.
But in the city there are "thieves of time" called Men in Grey. And they are trying to steal time to people and induce them into their stressed life style.
But children have "all the time of the world" and they are a difficult target for the Men in Grey.
At the end, Momo and her friends get back the stolen time.
The book is about the concept of time and how it´s used by humans today. The author has a critical attitude about innecesary consumption and capitalist society. And let us see that it´s very important, and not a time-wasting, doing things not only focus on earning money, such as creating art, telling stories, playing with our childrens or even sleep.

My little daugther recommend it to me ten years ago.

This book was written by the American novelist Louisa May Alcott in 1868. This novel is considered a classic of the romantic drama genre and although it’s a youthful novel it can be read al all ages. The story takes places during the American Civil War. It tells how 4 sisters grow up, find love and find their place in the world.

I read this book when I was 11 years old. Every summer my mother bought me a book and it was the first time I read it and I was impressed because I felt reflected in different aspects of each of the characters that we have experienced our adolescence: the rebelliousness, shyness, sweetness and selfishness.

The book is 150 years old, it’s an easy and enjoyable novel to read. There have been many films adaptations and I’ve seen all the versions, but I don’t change the reading of this novel for any film. I recommend you read Young Lady if you’ve never done so because it’s an exciting and passionate story that does not go out of style.

Every chapter talks about a different story of women in Beirut, Gaza, Rojava, Kurdistan and Síria.

The book relates how in this region there is a revolution underway, persistent and determined like no other: it just starts when a girl is born, and continues in her infancy, youth, fullness and old age.

The plot focuses on the women revolution. It’s a fight without truce or end against the patriarchy that dominates politics, culture and society.

In some cases this fight is for survival, in others, it’s a fight conscious and politic organized to win and defend basic rights such as the right to be born, the right to abort, the right to an education and decent job, to defend yourself from those who want to destroy you.

I highly recommend it because I’m sure it will change your perception of the Middle East after read the book.
