Students who are neither McKinney-Vento or Foster can be supported with resources with the In-Need Referral.

Offering the Free Fares for School rider program (Omnitrans "public transportation") to students when they enroll or when identified at the school site as MKV/FY aligns with the requirement of USC 11432 (g)(3)(C). Please continue to offer the Free Fares for School option while Transportation Services processes the Transportation Referral. All RUSD students qualify for the Free Fares 4 School program. The only requirement is they have to show their school ID to the bus driver before boarding.

School sites will need to ensure that students are provided with a school ID upon enrollment so that they can benefit from this program.

In addition to his speaking engagements, Kevon is also an accomplished author. He has written a children's book, "Kevon’s Big Field Day, We Should All Have A Chance," encouraging students to support and uplift each other.

Administered by the ScholarShare Investment Board, CalKIDS takes the initiative by automatically offering children born in California and eligible public school students in California a CalKIDS Scholarship Account, along with other potential financial incentives.
