In recent years, major broadcasters have favored men's sports over women's sports for certain intangible reasons. From this writer's perspective, one explanation for this might be that there is gender discrimination among the leaders in the TV company. Furthermore, women's sports should definitely receive more coverage than before for more opportunities for female athletes in the commercial industry.

Sport is the subject generally sticking to men more than women, so TV channels usually leverage this to make more profit, which makes the number of games played by men being broadcasted more than that of women. Considering the growing attention towards diversity in sports, I think equivalent time should be spent for women's game as well as men's.
