I noticed that the school put a lot of importance in accountable talk. They had "sentence stems" to help the students talk to each other and share their ideas. I noticed that they took turns and let everyone have a say. This is participation because they let everyone be a part of it. One boy said that he disagreed with someone, but he said it politely so that he wouldn't hurt anyone's feelings. This shows the disagree aspect.
