Also, if the very first person who gets in your house in the new year is a curly or redheaded woman you'll have a year full of bad luck again, sorry for those who are curly or ginger and live alone, but if the woman has dark hear that brings good luck to your house. Two brides should never see each other face to face while they wear the wedding dress on the big day and if you marry in May your marriage wont last. The most interesting superstition that you will find in Muntenia its called the Filips and they are related to wolves. Basically in some dates: June 29; 14-30 November; the end of January; October 21 (the most important); January 16. To keep all the bad luck and the danger of living in a place surrounded by wolves away you are not allowed to do things such as: brush your hair; take the trash out; say the word 'lup' (wolf)
