I thought that the book was very interesting. The book was based on a true story and it was a history book. The family basically had to go on an adventure to freedom. The book Yellow Star from Jennifer Roy is a great book! The action takes place when Syvia sees a helicopter. I felt like I was there because the author used words that made me feel like I was really there.

                I would recommend this book because it is so interesting. I really felt like I was there and it had so much action in it and that made it so good.  If I had to choose between any other book and Yellow Star I would definitely choose Yellow Star. I would give this book a thumbs up and I think everyone else who would read this would too.

I chose the word holocaust because Syvia was a jew during the holocaust. It was horrid but luckily Syvia was close to her family. Syvia was very brave because she lost all of her friends. According to the book it was very hard for her. She even had to sleep in a graveyard

                At the end of the story Syvia woke up to helicopter noises. Some people were about bomb the place but they were not bad. Luckily she noticed and she woke everyone up before it happened. They landed the helicopter and they were saved. Syvia was kind of like a lookout because if she did not wake up they would have all died.
