Flat Earth is not valid because we have proof and have sent spaceships into orbit etc. Global warming is a more complex issue and the predictions are not as accurate as they could be. Once the state governments started to close businesses because of COVID, there was some backlash to this choice. He said something like, "Did I switch sides (i.e. go from not believing in climate change to believing in climate change) too soon?"

Rather than a knee-jerk, "Yes! I did switch sides too soon!" he instead looked into the quality of the evidence. What did the emails actually say? What did the investigations conclude?
