How our version of poor doesn’t compare to other countries. We still have our luxuries.
I choose to focus on the child poverty and how to possibly end it or reduce the rate of child poverty. By increasing marriages in families, working patterns, and decreasing immigration. I believe all that is stated in the article has an effect to poverty in America.
I agree that welfare discourages marriages these days. All of the benefits that are given to simmer the finances/ medical issues in families get taken away after getting married or getting a  better paying job. It’s truly confusing how it works.
