Titov was the youngest person ever launched into space and the first to bring a camera. Titov became the first extraterrestrial photographer because before he brought a camera into space the only picture taken were by automated cameras mounted in the Mercury capsule. Titov was the first to do many things in space such as sleep, be up there for a whole day and get space sickness. His camera is what really wowed the world because it was the first camera to take videos of earth from orbit.

Tsiolkovsky's pictures depicted what he thought space would be like. He is known as the Russian father of rocketry. Tsiolkovsky's drawings predicted what would happen two decades before these things actually happened. He was able to predict the affects of weightlessness. Tsiolkovsky's sketched a picture of a space walk that ended up being just like Alexei Leonov in 1965

Vega probe landed on Venus making the soviets the firsts to land on another planet. The probe had a balloon sent along with it that would be blown around in the winds of Venus. The balloon was filled with scientific equipment in hopes that it would collect data about the atmosphere. Balloons collected data such as, pressure, temperature, vertical wind velocity, cloud particle backscatter, ambient light level, and frequency of lightning. The balloon traved across 30% of the planet to gather this information.

This rover was operated by the soviets with remote controls. The rover used thermal energy during the night and solar energy during the day. Due to the fact that this mission took place on the moon day time and nighttime each last 2 weeks. The rover sent back data about the soil make up and close up views of the topography.

A decompression chamber is a a small room in which the air pressure can be varied. It was researched, developed and produced by Enterprise Zvezda. It was to be used by pilots and people in the field but today it is used by many others such as deep sea divers. The chamber is flooded with oxygen to save pilots and others. It helps stop blood loss. It is most commonly used to treat decompression sickness.
