         <description><![CDATA[<div>Smoking is the most preventable&nbsp; death.&nbsp; It causes lung cancer, heart disease, and other respiratory diseases. Out of the 2.4 million deaths in the US, 480,000 of those deaths are caused by smoking. 90% of males with lung cancer develop it because they smoked. Smokers have a higher risk of developing bladder cancer, kidney cancer, and many others. <strong>Nordqvist, Christian.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Cigarettes mostly contain a green plant called tobacco. There are over 4,000 chemicals in cigarettes, but&nbsp; 51 of those chemicals are carcinogenic. A carcinogen causes cancer. Nicotine is another chemical in cigarettes that causes people to get addicted to it.
