The domestication of humans was a very good for humanity. Prior to the Paleolithic timesthe human race had to travel around looking for new areas and new scorches of food. The development of agriculture allowed humanity to settle down and create homes, schools, and other very important things that helped shape our life today. On the contrary, traveling around to search for food was good for the human race because it put the start of humans into new places. The food sources in one area started to grow old and they needed new things. An agreement with agriculture can be made, but people still have to tend to the crops and plants which takes away from creating those homes and schools. The development to farms and cities is what lead humanity to be as advanced as it is. To hunt and gather doesn't always mean movement. Humanity today can be advanced but the simplest kind of family can still carry on this lifestyle. Men can still leave to go hunt while the women of the family stay to collect the crops from the fields, water and other jobs. Now this is only in a smaller group. So I think we've been arguing the wrong sides but we can just continue this. The Paleolithic era put us in a better place today. With the invention of agriculture many great technological advancements happened with it and  overall putus  in a better place today. With technology still advancing humanity has overall benefited more from agriculture. The time when humans were hunters and gatherers was much more productive. Humans had time to do other things like tell stories  and sing songs. The Neolithic era is when humanity had more free time. In the Paleolithic era you weren't having large family's and have the free time that you would in the Neolithic stage. The Neolithic era would grant you the free time because you were growing your crops in the field. Referring to Eggs in the beginning; hunting and gathering always consisted with moving around. When everything in a certain area was picked beyond a point where there was very limited plants and animals left, they had to pick everything up and move just to do the same thing to another area. With agriculture, there was rarely a shortage of food and everyone could settle down and become civilized. There was plenty for everyone to eat and even some to store for later. This also meant that not everyone had to work in the food industry and could still be supported, so there was a lot more time for other jobs like art and pottery.
