Specific: My specific goal for this term is to get at least a B as my grade.

Measurable: I can measure this goal with Progress Report Form my teacher gave me. When I input all my grades in the form, it adds up all my HPS and my overall scores. After that, I simply find the average by dividing the scores by the new HPS.

Attainable: I think this goal is attainable if I put all my heart and soul into all the tasks given to me by my teacher. The things I need for this to happen are my notes for reference, notebooks for solutions, and finally my willingness to learn and ask questions.

Relevant: This is goal is important for me since I didn't feel satisfied with my grades from my previous grade level. This is also to boost my chances of getting into Senior High School since they take a look at my grades from Grade 8-9.

Time-Bound: I think I had some difficulties in achieving this term-long goal. I think my journey in the first term is about 4 months or so. Room for improvement is still there.

Self Evaluation:

For me, I think I did pretty decent this term. I have had many good scores in my tasks, but I also had bad ones as well. It will be hard to believe, but I had a zero on the very first task I have done. But despite this, I was able to get back up and regain my confidence in doing my tasks.

1. A misconception I always get wrong involves the Laws of Exponents. I always get confused with the difference between the Power of a Power and the Product of Power Law.

2. I always interchange the use of Power of a Power and Product Law. I realized that the Power of a Product is for adding the exponents when they have the same base, while the Power of a Power is used when a power is being raised by another power.

3. How did I get over this? I simply studied and researched through the internet how the laws of exponents worked. I also used EdPuzzles and Cerebry exercises as guides and reviews to help me understand the lesson better.

In my opinion, the hardest task I had to do was the first video output. This is because I sometimes forget how to apply the Systems of Equations in Word Problems. I had to do the first number for this task. I first read the Word Problem, then I had to find my x and y variables. I also asked for some help from my group mates. After that, I used Substitution and Elimination to find both x and y. Finally, I added x and y to find the total. After many more outputs whether it was video or photo, I had more confidence in doing them. I just needed to analyze the question well.

This is Photo Output 4.2 on Radical Operations. The numbers given to me by group mates were 16 and 18. I needed a little help from my groupmates. As I got on with all the items, I asked my Group mates if I was correct. I got it correct. I think my contributions to my group are outstanding. But even so, I sometimes depend on my parents or groupmates to help me with tasks like these. Next Term, I am sure that I will be more independent.
