In the movie there is some really odd Ritchie-ism, like the crunchy slo-mo in the fight scenes, but he is, presumably, brought on board for reasons not to wholly to do his own cinematic style. The movie has quite a lot of mystery and crime in the movie  with a character who is really smart and mysterious. Sherlock Holmes is played with boggle-eyed haminess by Robert Downey Jr while Jude Law is Dr Watson inspired casting at first glance: he is weirdly boring aura superficially lending itself to the role. But they're both a pain: the former a cartoon with darting eyes rather than a brain, the latter just a blank. Sherlock Holmes baffles in all the wrong ways. Is it a cool satire on Victorian seriousness? A thriller? A comedy?.This muddle of genres reflects a collapse of confidence in his ability to deliver anything. I rate this movie 5/5 stars because it portrays a character who is plays by his own rules and discovers crime and lots of mystery with his team member Dr Watson and I found it a cool movie for kids and for adults because most people love crime and mystery films but it also shows the way that the world has change back in the 1800´s like with coal powered cars and old fashioned building it is amazing to see how the world is changing so that´s what i like about this film it is really cool to see a funny and smart actor  turn into a more serious and more mysterious character. I think that people should watch this movie because it is fun to watch as a family or friends.
