         <description><![CDATA[<p>Opinion:</p><p>Lab lasses are generally overstaffed due to student attendance but if there was at least 50% attendance then it would be a fair ratio. However, if there was 100% attendance then classes could be crowded with both staff and students. To prevent this from happening academics could possibly do smaller classes and see an improved attendance rate.</p><p><br/></p><p>Example:</p><p>Within the large physiology classes in the Institute of Sport (approximately 100 students) there is very poor attendance and usually results in 4 staff members to 20 students.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Staff to student ratio should also be dependent on equipment use, in terms of difficulty, student to equipment ratio, and experience of staff with equipment.</p><p><br/></p><p>Staff to student ratio shouldn't be a 1 size fits all, should be module dependent.</p>]]></description>
