         <description><![CDATA[<div>- Thomas Jefferson was the first secretary of state.<br>-Henry Knox was the first Secretary of war.<br>-Alexander Hamilton was the first Treasury.<br>-Every president has followed Washington's ways and elected people for the cabinet.<br>-Domestic policy covers the issue having to do with home, The United States<br>-Drawing up a bill of rights. This was a task that Washington left up to Congress in the leadership of James Madison.<br>- It was necessary to organize the Judicial branch.<br>- The judiciary act was passed in 1789 in which congress created affective federal courts. This act also set up a Supreme court, chief justice, associate judges, federal district, circuit courts, and established office of attorney General.<br>-John Jay was the first chief justice of the united states.<br>-The biggest critical problem that was affecting the U.S was money<br>-National treasury was empty because of war debt.<br>-Alexander hamilton came up with ways to fix the debt.<br>1- raise taxes<br>2-create a national bank<br>3-promote protective tariffs.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>George Washington was the first president of the United States (1789-1797). <br>He was born in Westmoreland county, Virginia on February 22, 1732.<br>He later inherited Mount Vernon which is also located in Virginia<br>He was 6'2 and was 175 pounds.<br>He did not have good education so he considered himself as a planter and soldier.<br>Before he was a president he was a member of Virginia House of Burgesses, the Continental congress, Commander of Continental army, and chairman of the constitutional convention.<br>He did not run for president but was chosen Unanimously by the electoral college.<br>He prefered to live quietly in his home in Mount Vernon but accepted the role of presidency. He felt that it was his civi virtue<br> </div>]]></description>
