I'am going to present you all about New York.
To begin New York was built in 1624, in 1664 it was conquered by some english people.It was called New Amsterdam.Now capital of the United-States is Washington but between 1785 and 1790, it was New York.
New York is lacated in the north-east  of USA. New York City is one of the most important an the biggest city in America. 8 million people live in this city. Over there , The people are called the "New Yorkers".NYC is divided in five boroughts:
Brooklyn ,it's where there are the most important number of people in New York.
Queens ,in the Queens quaters 40% of the ppopulation speak an other language.A lot of Airports are there.
The Bronx,  there are some very poor quaters over there.Spanish and black people live over there.
Manahtan,is the most famous boroughs and richest borough in NYC , with skycrapers ,it's especially a financial borough , a Dutchman bought it for 24 dollars in 1624
Staten Island is where there are a lot of houses and its the quietest borough.
New York City is on the Atlantic coast and it is lacated in long Island. The mayor has been Bil de Blasio since 2014.the surface is about 750 km2.
The New york's nickmanes and names are:"The City that never sleeps","Gotahm City","New York City","NYC","City of New York" and Big apple.

 -New York is divided in five borhougs : the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn and staten Island. New York was founded in 1624. Its previous name was «New-Amsterdam». The capital of the United States of America is Washington.

 -The number of Nations in New York is 170. The number fo Languages is 160. And in New York there is a big population, there are 8 550 405 people.

 -In New York there are 49 buildings over 200 meters high. And there are 84 buildings over 100 meters high.

 -Nox let's talk about the Brooklyn Bridge. It links two districts Manhattan and Brooklyn. It's one of the oldest suspension Bridge in the United States of america. It's a big suspension bridge, its work lasted 14 years. Every day 1800 vehicles and 150 300 people drive across it.

 -I think New York is a big and beautiful city. There are many over things to discover.

 First, in 1614, the Dutch people called this town New-Amsterdam. But, the name of New-York appeared in 1624. New-York City is composed of 170 nations and 160 languages. Over 40% residents are foreign born.

THE EMPIRE STATE BUILDING :

 The Empire State Building is located in the fifth avenue, in Manhattan. It's a skyscrapper composed of 102 floors and its tall is 443 meters ( with the aerial ). It is open since thefirst of May, 1931.

THE STATUE OF LIBERTY :

 The Statue of Liberty is a monument on Liberty Island, in the South of Manhattan. It was built by France on the 28 of October, 1886 and Gustave EIFFEL was the architect.

TIMES-SQUARE :

 Times-Square is a famous place midtown Manhattan. Approximately 365 000 visit it a day. When you can go to New-York, It's « compulsory » to go to Times-Square. A lot of celebrities walk on this place everyday.

LOTS OF VILLAGES :

 In New-York City, there are a lot of typical villages like Soho, Chinatown, Greenwich Village, East Village, Little Italy, …

WHAT'S INTERESTING ?

 In New-York, a lot of things are brilliant to do : Bubba Gump, is a famous restaurant for the film « Forrest Gump ». There is the « big apple helicopter tour » too, you can fly over New-York. It's interesting to visit the Fire Truck because the Firemen are very nice. But I can't speak about all the monuments.

CONCLUSION :

 If you can go to New-York, go on. Because everything is very good, everything is beautiful. New-York is called « the big apple » bcause an apple is very beautiful, very clean like New-York. To tell the truth, I think New-York is huge, the yellow cabs and the general organization are enormous.

It is located on the West of the world, and on the East of ,the USA. It is called « The city of the world ». In the USA, it is the most populated city. It is situated on Long Island. In 1624 that Englich people conquered New Amsterdam wich them became New York. 

Now, New York has 8millions of inhabitants ans the mayor is Bill de Basio. This is a very good city to go on holidays.

New York is composed of 5 boroughs, Staten Irland, Queens, The Bronx wich is a poor boroughsmainly composed of black and Spanish people. Brooklyn is a famous borough of New York, it is mainly a residential borough, and there is the Brooklyn Bridge which links Manhanttan to Brooklyn. And the last borough of New York is Manhattan which is very famous and rich. This is a Dutchman who purshased it for only 24$ in 1924. In this borough there are many famous streets like Broadway, The 5^th avenue, Times Square, Wall Street, Little Italy and Chinatown which is a mix of different countries.

New York has a lot of big parks but the most famous is Central Park, it is twice as big as Monaco. In summer there are some concerts and animations. 

In New York, there are a lot of famous buildings, The Statue of Liberty was given to France, with Gustave Effeil as the architect, it is situated on Liberty Island. The World Trade Center was founded in 2001. There is the Trump Tower and the Verrazano Bridge too. And the Metropolitan Museum Art which is like Le Louvre. 

The most famous building in New York is The Empire State Building which is located in the 5 avenue in Manhattan, it was founded in 1931 and it was opened in 1970. It has 13 elevators and in the 86^th floor, you can have a 360°view of the city.

You can go and visit New York because this is a beautiful city and there are many things to do there. There are, every year, 40million of tourists, so you can go to inscrease the number of visiters.

 First, I'm going to speak about the geography. New York is situated in the North-East of the USA (United States of America) and it's the most populated city of the USA with over 8 million inhabitants.

 New York has many nicknames like « The Big Apple », « The city that never sleeps », « The Capital of the world », or again « The city of the American dream ». The mayor of New York is Bill de Blasio. There are 790 000 companies in New York.

 Secondly, let's talk about the History of New York. It's in 1664 that English people conquered New Amsterdam which beacame now New York. It was the foundation of the city.

 Then, we are going to speak about the 5 boroughs : there are Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and the Bronx.

 Manhattan was built in 1683 like Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island. This borough has 1626 153 inhabitants. It's very famous in the world with its impressive skyscrapers. It's a very touristic borough too.

 For Brooklyn, there are 2 636 735 inhabitants so it's the most populated borough of New York.

 Next, the is Queens with 2 296 175 inhabitants. It's a borough with various social classes. There are por neighborhoods but also very posh neighborhoods. In Queens, there is the Internationnal Airport of New York.

 Then, Staten Island, an island with 472 621 inhabitants. It's not an urban borough so it's the less populated.

 New York welcomes different nationalities with Chinatown (between 100 000 and 150 000 inhabitants) and Little Italy.

 New York is very famous with its wonderful buildings ans monuments like the Statue of Liberty, the Metropolitan Museum or the Empire State Buildings, a scryscraper of Art built in 1931.

 To conclude, I have never been in New York but I know that it's a fantastic city and I hope to go there one day.
