In our ideal secondary school, most children begin studying when they are 12 or 13 years old and finish when they are 16 years old. Students attend school from Monday to Friday, with weekends off. There are 3 holidays in the year: winter holidays, summer holidays and Easter holidays. Compulsory matters are: Maths, Portuguese, Science and Social Studies. There are some optional subjects too: Arts, Physical Education, Music, Swimming and Karate. The school is located in a lake, on the water, because this way students will learn to respect the nature and also how to make good use of it: how to grow and make their own food, build boats and houses...
