         <description><![CDATA[<div>The movement began on december 1, 1955. On that day Montgomery, Alabama, Rosa Parks(1913-2005) refused ti give up her seat for a white passenger. <br>When Rosa Parks was arrested she had to pay a fine. The paster in her area was Luckily for her Martin Luther King. MLK called for a boycott and for a while blacks and some whites boycotted the busses. finally the supreme court overturned the fine and the busses were desegregated.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The bus driver was called J. Fred Blake. when Rosa Parks was fined $10 plus $4 in court fees he was the bus driver, but this was not the first time they've met. in 1943 she paid for a bus ticket she then exited so she could re-enter through the back door as required. blake pulled away before she could re-board the bus, leaving her on the street with no bus.</div>]]></description>
