There are many weird animals that live here, that don't live anywhere else on this planet like the giant giant catfish, Indochinese tigers, Saola ante-lopes, and Sumatran rhinos. It is in Southeast Asia on the eastern edge of the peninsula. it's neighbors are China and Laos. On the western side they have mountains such us the Annam Cordillera but on the east they have a 1600-kilometer coast line. Two of Vietnam's largest rivers, the Mekong in the south and the Red in the north. Near the South China Sea, there are  swampy plains called deltas. The official language is Vietnamese although many Vietnamese also speak French. If you are wondering about the currency, in Vietnam you pay with Dongs.
