Frankenstein is one of the most famous novel written by Mary Shelley and the history of its creation is interesting because the idea came to her during the dream.
Darya Kolodyazhnaya
I would like to share with you some interesting facts from Jane Austen's biography. It was interesting for me, that most of her education she recieved at home, however, she was well-educated. Her father helped her, especially with her writing talent. She started writing at the age of 14 and her father bought her paper and writing desk. When he died it was a huge lost for her.

Interesting fact about Sif Walter Scott is that he coined the phrase ‘Wars of the Roses’, when he used it to refer to the dynastic wars of the 15th century. Scott based the name in the play "Henry VI", set in the gardens of the Temple Church, where noblemen and a lawyer pick red or white roses to show the loyalty to the Lancastrian or Yorkist factions accordingly.

Fact about Jane Austen is that she dedicated a novel to someone she hated. In 1815 Jane Austen`s brother was ill the family called in a physician who so happened to be the Prince Regent’s doctor as well. The physician consequently told the Prince Regent about Austen, and to show his appreciation for her work, let her take a tour of his library with his librarian James Clarke. When Austen was there, Clarke told her that the Prince Regent wanted to let her know that she could dedicate her next novel to him if she wanted. Austen knew that this was more of and order than a suggestion. And so, Emma was dedicated to him!
