That's a clear introduction to BB, and rather more effective I suspect than someone blathering to a large group.

I'm not convinced the squid at the end is real (this may have just appeared in my YT!).

That was a clear description of the process. I am toying with the idea of having my students trying to make traditional Chinese knots, both as a welcome to over Chinese students and as an exercise in 3D thinking.

I would suggest making the webcam image of you bigger as you show how to tie the knot -- might be had to see on a small screen.

The calculation was clearly explained, with all necessary information provided. It's a good idea to have a blog linked to this.

One possibility: Maybe don't have the whole calculation (with answers) revealed on the SSQ1 slide? How about asking the first question, then suggesting the students pause the video and try the calculation before restarting to see the video?

I liked the simplicity of your explanation. like Nogel, I thought that a larger webcam image would help - better still if you were using an actual Necker, or a larger piece of fabric to help you demonstrate as you spoke.

I thought this was a really efficient way to introduce the module and what the student's would be doing with it. I felt the sign posting to other resources was good such as assessment folder briefs.
