Sailor Moon first aired in Japan on TV Asahi on March 7th, 1992. This anime leads a great example for girl power and determination. Not only is the main character a reincarnated princess but she is also just a normal girl that is struggling with the real world. This show not only gives a strong female lead to enjoy but also to look up to.

Newsom, Victoria A. "YOUNG FEMALES AS SUPER HEROES: SUPER HEROINES IN THE ANIMATED SAILOR MOON."
