Students will be in small groups for the first performance task. They will be creating an experiment in their group where a change in the states of matter has occurred.
The second performance task will ask students to present the experiment with the group in the form of a Powerpoint.
The third performance task will have students find a solid, liquid, or a gas to bring in to the class and describe what they can use to measure it.  

Each performance task will aid in answering the essential questions for the unit.
