Throughout watching this documentary I really felt blessed for the life I am living, for the education I am able to get, for everything I want is always given to me. I really felt sad and heartbroken watching these families suffer to get a shelter above their heads and food in their bodies. Children should be children, they should play with friends, learn and grow up without any worries. Children should not suffer in order to survive. This made me reflect on how some times I refuse to eat lunch at home and order something else just because I don't like it, it made think how I can go grab a snack whenever I am hungry while the kids in the documentary are starving and have to wait to be fed, and some of them do get to eat 3 meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) at all. This documentary really made me feel down and my heart ache for how these families are hurting and are in pain just to get by another day in the harsh and cruel environment they are living in.

The thoughts I had whilst watching the documentary was "I cannot even imagine myself in their place". I really think the families in the documentaries are really strong. They were not given these lives because they are weak, they were given these lives because they are strong and are determined to live it and survive it. My thoughts were that they really have patience to endure the hardships of the cruel environment they are living in, and that all of it will not go to waste. If they can keep on believing and hoping of a better life, they will eventually get it someday.

I hope that the parents could find proper jobs with good income that would make surviving this unfair world a bit easier. I don't know..." This child is so precious, it's heartbreaking. A child should not have to suffer this much.

Watching this documentary made me realise how blessed I am for having all essential needs and unnecessary wants; a happy stable life. It's really hard as a wealthy individual to believe that such conditions exist, that some kids childhood was taken away, that they ended up acting like adults. Actually being young adults with responsibilities and an unbelievable amount of patience and hope, that I myself can't stand or have, maybe because I'm not prepared or taught to be prepared for the impossible, the struggles. Instead, have whatever I want, whenever I need it. I believe that they don't deserve to be living that life, it's not their fault nor their parents at some situations. I feel bad when thinking and knowing that the world is really unfair, where there are many rich ones who tend to spend their money on unvaluable nor necessary things, and some struggle finding a shelter and a meal to feed themselves. Feed their weak kids that won't be able to grow healthy unless they were taken cared of, to stand on their own feet and build a better future. It made me perceive and think how cruel the world is, how unthoughtful of such cases, like how is it possible for a leader with enough resources leave children suffer? Making innocent individuals give up their dreams and think of survival.

To be honest, I mostly felt angry and annoyed watching this documentary, because all I was thinking of was: where are the organisations that support those who are suffering in poverty? Why are poor people being charged for their health? Why don't those who have wealth and means improve poor people's life, not by easily giving them money, but by hiring them at proper jobs to offer their families a decent life. Because how is it possible for a nation to develop and prepare it's citizens for a better future when there no tools to success and a wealthy life? It made me sad hearing those kids emotional suffer along with their parents, and be responsible of many things instead of having a clear mind and enjoying their childhood.

I hope that these kids get positively recognised, the parents get employed and emotionally stable, not worrying about essential things. I hope that they overcome poverty and take it as a lesson to implement in their bright future, to teach their kids values and morals. A decent stable stress-less life and happiness is all I wish for for those families, and god be with me.
