Though not totally forbidden by law, society certainly encourages the pressurizing of those moral breakers. However, aside from the possibility of hurting loyal and moral people at the same time, whistleblowing itself isn't encouraged. According to an article published in the African Journal of Business Ethics, choosing morality instead of loyalty in workplaces may not be a clever choice. “Numerous cases of whistleblowing demonstrate that the act is in fact not appreciated and that whistleblowers are severely victimized by their employers.” (Uys, 38) This opinion suggests that the social dilemma that employees are facing discourages them from blowing the whistle.

In conclusion, from what our teammates just talked about, we can see that they think that morality is more important than loyalty because it can help us establish a good relationship with others more than loyalty can. Because if you are so loyal to someone, you will be distant from others, and you might do something to hurt others to benefit the person to whom you are loyal. Also, they give some great examples, like Kathy says that if you leave nothing untried to protect a murderer, who’s the person you love, he will not receive any punishment, but the victim suffered much and the killer is still alive, which is a hidden danger for society and even yourself.

Morality usually means a set of standards for good or bad behavior and character, or the quality of being right, honest, and acceptable. Loyalty, on the other hand, is a sense of duty or devoted attachment to something or someone. Is having loyalty more important than morality? This is one of the most important questions humans as species struggle with. There is no doubt that each of us would do our best effort to help those that we care about. However, most of the time, loyalty to someone we love conflicts with our sense of morality. Perhaps the answer to the question is morality should be more important. Under whatever circumstances, we should choose what is right, because to do otherwise is considered selfish. Imagine that you need to choose between your loved one and the punishment he or she deserves. If we did all the best for the person we care about, the world would be much of a chaotic place. Everyone would choose to protect the one they care about and be very selfish. In this case, the evil neither gets the punishment nor reflects on oneself. There is a potential that they would do the same thing again. More seriously, if your protection requires lying or threatening the interests of others, you will most likely receive penalties. You will be hated and retaliated against by that innocent person’s family or friends. At the same time, if the lie is exposed, you will receive punishments that could cause your present or future life. There is no benefit in protecting others with your present or future. Morality is therefore more significant than loyalty.

Secondly, regarding your second example, I would like to say that admittedly, most people don't want to blow the whistle and don't want others to do it, but it's not hard to see their motives - blowing the whistle will hurt their own interests and those of others which will make he or she an outlier and will make him or her targeted by others. However, let us imagine that in a company, everyone is corrupt and does not work, and as everyone is loyal to each other, no one  report others for corruption. Therefore, the only thing that will happen to this group is that it will be destroyed. Such examples are common in real life, such as MF Global and Enron Corporation. Thus, this kind of loyalty is undesirable.
