         <description><![CDATA[<div>This lecture was about academic integrity and good academic practice by Dr. Nataliya Shiraz. In this lecture we learn about academic integrity's definition, FAQs, key stats about academic cheating and different forms of academic misconduct. Then she introduces the class to Turnitin and its features for example how Turnitin detects plagiarism. Then we learn about case studies of plagiarism. There were 4 cases about hidden text, copy and pasting, replacing characters, ghosting and flags. we learn about astonishing stats on academic cheating UK context and watched shot BBC documentary on ghosting. The whole lecture was very informative and we learned a lot of new things and it put us on the right path. The experience of this lecture was scary and eye-opening. At the end there was Q&amp;A than librarian introduce us to the online and offline library. In the future,&nbsp;I will use this information to avoid plagiarism, and any form of academic misconduct.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The lecture was about Secondary data and its types Quantitative or Qualitative by Dr. Nataliya Shiraz. Then we learn about the difference between primary and secondary data. Then Dr. Nataliya Shiraz showed us some examples of secondary data like v Government reports, White papers, National statistics, Annual corporate reports, Income statements, and balance sheets, and Blogs. Then she guides us on how and where we can find secondary data. I learned about the importance of the Harvard referencing system. This lecture was very informative and it is very helpful for writing research reports and presentations. This lecture was very helpful for me to find good and valuable secondary data for my research and presentation. At the end of the lecture, there were Q&amp;As. In the future, I will use this information to find secondary data and make better research reports.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This lecture was about maximising learning in a master's program by Sylwia Wodyk. The aims of this lecture were to share, discuss and how to maximise the learning experience. Then the lecturer share her master's experience with us and how was it. Then she told us about how to stay motivated and the structure of a master's degree. She told us to get to know our teachers and get familiar with them. After that, we learn of different ways of thinking maximising our learning. Then we learn how to get more support from the university and use the university's resources for a better learning experience. This lecture is very helpful for our main master's program. In the future, I will use this information to improve my learning experience in the main master's program.</div>]]></description>
