...in Guatemala during day of the dead, or all saints day, they fly kites at cemeteries and make this typical food fiambre and go to the cemeteries to clean up the gravesites of loved ones and leave flowers and food and it's a big celebration. I had students make (small) kites to fly and they decorated them with things important to themselves and their families especially loved ones that passed
